EU Returns & Withdrawal

This page supplements any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

EU 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after the last item in the order is delivered, subject to statutory exceptions.

You can exercise this right by sending a clear withdrawal statement to Info@chosay.com. Include your name, order number and the item(s) concerned. If an electronic return or cancellation function is available in your customer account, you can also use that function. After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days using the return instructions we provide.

We will provide the applicable return address and instructions. Do not send items to the store’s general contact address unless we confirm it as the return address.

You may inspect goods as you would in a physical shop. You can be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We will reimburse eligible payments, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, within 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you returned them, whichever occurs first. Extra delivery charges above the least-expensive standard method are not required to be reimbursed.

You bear the direct cost of returning goods where this was properly disclosed before purchase. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, any required return-cost estimate must be disclosed before purchase.

Exceptions

Statutory exceptions can include goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after unsealing, and other categories excluded by applicable law. A product is not exempt merely because it is sourced after you place an order.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on delivery and contact Info@chosay.com promptly if an item is defective, damaged or incorrect. These claims are separate from withdrawal rights. EU consumers also have statutory conformity and guarantee rights under applicable law.

Voluntary 30-day returns

In addition to mandatory rights, CHOSAY offers a voluntary return period of 30 days from delivery. For voluntary returns outside a mandatory statutory withdrawal period, items must be unused, in original condition, with tags and original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Voluntary-return restrictions do not reduce mandatory rights.
