Egal (German for however) is just the name. Of course we left nothing to chance when transforming the shelf into a sideboard. We added a base with gentle curves to the linear corpus. Not only elevating Egal to a new level but gives it its filigree appearance. We gave the laminated veneer plywood a new colleague, namely nitrided steel. Smooth and course, natural and industrial, warm and cool – the game of con- trasts can begin.
