BD Barcelona
Founded in 1972 in a Barcelona nightclub, BD is an international design powerhouse built on creative freedom and nonconformity. Originally founded by young architects and designers, BD quickly gained recognition by collaborating with visionaries like Ettore Sottsass, Rennie Mackintosh, and Álvaro Siza. Today, the company is collectively owned by Apartamento Magazine, Taller Bofill, and Arquitectura-G—with notable contributions from Oscar Tusquets—allowing BD to continue pushing the boundaries of design and creativity.
