Artist Philippe Weisbecker's 'construction' drawings and architectural representations pay homage to the old factories and common buildings he views “as the cathedrals of the great industrial revolution”. His diagrammatic representations capture both the beauty and poignancy of simple structures. The faded traces of the rubbed-out pencil lines candidly convey the passing of time, and the trials and errors of his process.
